The Power of Intention

Intention creates the foundation for any Manifesting Ritual. Knowing and being really clear about your intention is incredibly important. It may begin as a thought, an image or dream or a desire to feel a certain way. Or perhaps you are not totally clear on what your intention is. When I am unsure of an intention I will often use my oracle cards to gain clarity. I then write my intention down, speak it aloud and notice how it feels for me.

Be specific with your intention, the clearer you are, the clearer the Universe hears you. Sometimes all it takes is writing your intention down several different ways and going with the one that looks, feels or sounds right for you in that moment. Trust your intuition.

My New Moon Intention Rituals have taught me to be prepared for anything. Intentions have a tendency to bring any blocks, that may be preventing your intention from coming into fruition, to the surface. I see it as clearing the path, not always fun, not always easy but always necessary to move through to other side.

I’ve also learnt to let go of how I think my intention will come about. This is one of the quickest ways to walk past opportunities that may lead to your intention, simply because you have a specific vision of how it should eventuate. The Universe has no limits, your mind is what creates them, sometimes you have to step out of the way, let go, trust and allow. Trust your intuition and trust the Universe has your back but stay smart! You can’t just leave it all up to the Universe, you actually need to take action.

Inspired actions that will support your intention are crucial. You can’t just voice your desire and then expect it to land at your front door without any action. Action creates movement. It sets things in motion, creates energy shifts and shows the Universe that you are serious and that you are willing to do what it takes to get what you desire.
